yosemite climbing partner/
Hi! 27 she/they looking for climbing partners for a Yosemite trip the weekend of 7/25-7/26 (also free the Mon-Weds following if there are any other flexible/funemployed folks out there). Would love to connect with other BIPOC femme climbers but open to anyone who can give a safe and soft catch! I can promise the same in return.
I'll have a harness, rope, draws and am looking into renting a crashpad -- no trad alas though I'd be down to follow an experienced traddad/mom/parent with a rack. I know the area is pretty sandbagged so I'm gonna hold off on claiming to know what grade I'll be at, but I climb V5/occasional V6 and lead 5.11- ish at my local gym and have a few years of single-pitch outdoor lead climbing under my belt. I'll be coming from the Bay (I'm visiting from out of state). 80% sure I'll have a car that weekend and down to carpool or figure out the bus system which I did a few years ago -- it's a bit of a pain but also an interesting public transit adventure.
Also considering an out-and-back dayhike on the PCT, which runs through Tuolomne Meadows, for those also hiking-inclined -- thru'd it a few years ago and would love a lil stroll down memory lane! :)
