When you book a reservation onboard and transfer it to a TA, do they give you an OBC in addition to the one from Princess? Is there anything I need to know about the process other than the 30-day window?

Basically what it says in the title. We’re booked on a mid-June sailing and one of us probably won’t be able to go. Instead of them being a no-show and me forfeiting their fare, can I swap them out for another person on the reservation?
