I have received and forwarded proof that the wrongdoers have been suspended as per a mail by the registrar stating the following:

"Please find attached the list of students who have been given preventive suspension as a disciplinary punishment. These students are permitted to enter the campus only when they are accompanied to appear before the enquiry committee."

The attached list had the wrongdoers listed and we can confirm that they have been suspended. I've forwarded proper proof to mods.

The registrar followed up with a mail saying that everything was fake and they didn't find any evidence. So let me get a few points straight across.

We got to know they confiscated devices with passwords. So far this was treated as "alleged". Now read this:

"Myself, the Vice-Chancellor and all Wardens have been trying to get information about the allegations. We call it allegations as neither the digital devices nor the inspection of physical premises gave us any proof of anything incriminating."

That confirms the allegations. Now let's move on to the point that the authority confirming that there is no such evidence is the management themselves, there's been no proof that the evidence has not been tampered with. If everyone who was involved got their devices confiscated, how else are they supposed to present the evidence? We are supposed to believe what management says because they inspected everything and found nothing.

Obviously, they are trying to not let us get involved. Please do not fall for the "alleged" confirmation from the registrar that no evidence was found. If anyone knows the victims, please help them speak up. Everyone has been put on lockdown and at this time if they really think there is no evidence then the victims should not be isolated and be allowed to speak freely.

Whatever claims they are making sounds like made up nonsense because if nothing really happened they wouldn't lock people down in their goddamn rooms so nothing gets out.

People don't indulge in a matter they know little about, if everything was a rumour like they suggest then the fight would not have been this violent. People must have had a standing ground to initiate violence in the first place.

Yeah if you thought it was over, my teacher just told me they'll send marks to parents now. And yes the VC instructed all of this.

Our life got exponentially worse in 2 weeks. What even is the solution? Mass mails can easily be ignored. Can't even protest because our seniors would be facing issues because of that (and overall all of us as well).

6 classes per week, attendance and marks sent to parents, 4 days of diwali holidays (takes 2 days to go home btw), and what next? Why us? Can we genuinely do something? This is suffocating and like pointless. I don't think they are making anything better by adding one class every week, the syllabus can't be that big.

Has anyone got any genuine solutions? If we don't do anything right now it will only start getting even worse from here on.
