Macbeth - Full Play - Shakespeare Line by Line
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a new, totally free online resource called Shakespeare Line by Line, presenting some of the most beloved of the Bard's plays in a new audio-video format.
These are acted, read-along videos in which the full play is spoken aloud by a cast of actors with the text on screen.
All videos are available on our YouTube Channel: ww.youtube.com/@shakespearelinebyline
So far, we have produced Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We hope to produce more of the plays in future.
Our aim with these videos was to produce completely free resources (without AI!) bringing the plays to life in an accessible format that doesn’t exist elsewhere, and offering a new entry point for getting into Shakespeare and his works. We hope these videos will be a useful resource for those teaching, studying, and performing Shakespeare – whether you’re learning lines, revising for exams, or just want to sit back and enjoy the timeless words completely unabridged.
We're keen to hear your thoughts on our existing videos – and which play you'd like to see us do next! We’re a small, dedicated team, and would really appreciate any feedback you might have. Thank you!
