First time Skier: Looking for quality recommendations for jacket, pants, gear etc. !!
I live in Asia (16F) where there are NO physical stores that sell any ski gear (Closest is Japan/China and I just pray for good outlets) but I am open to ordering online and paying shipping. I have not planned specifically where to ski but it would most likely be in countries like Sweden, Switzerland etc. my ski trip would be 2027 winter most likely.
As of now, my focus is mainly on searching for pants with a budget of $100-$200; maybe higher if the quality is truly worth the investment. My requirements are for a baggier feel/look that's waterproof! I'm really looking for something to invest in as I'm not getting any taller and "upgrading" isn't really a consideration because $60USD is already so much money (+ shipping) converted to my currency. (If anyone recommends a European brand, I wouldn't have to pay shipping) - I am also travelling to Paris this winter.
I am still looking for recommendations for jacket (preferably a shell) / mittens / helmet / goggles. I'll rent boots and skis and purchase my own when I am better experienced so I will appreciate any advice/recommendations for it.
Side note: Please don't just recommend renting. I am slowly going to buy gear as I go but I was just offered as a birthday gift to get a pair of ski pants this year and I'll be able to get a jacket of choice as a gift next year, months before winter! (: I have actually been skiing before and I'm going for lessons soon.
