Please enjoy this cute video and tell my mom this snake is definitely not pregnant 😂

I posted before about my parents new house being a beautiful rocky home to some cute garter snakes. She’s super afraid of snakes but I’ve been encouraging her to let them hang out by saying they are keeping the rodent population in check.

Mom is convinced every snake is a pregnant female that’s going to have 100 baby snakes under their deck 😅 So I’m posting this in hopes this wonderful group can help me assure her it’s not pregnant lol The video is from this evening.

Little monkey

He was climbing around and stood still long enough while hanging upside down for me to snap a few photos.

Backyard Buddies

I’m so jealous lol My parents new house has a whole rock/desert vibe out front, the prior owners were from AZ. Because of this it’s become a whole ecosystem with some cool new friends 😆 They are seriously under appreciated by her but I’ve been able to encourage her to send me pics at least.
One is a garter snake that is definitely earning its keep because it’s freakin huge now. The back yard pushes up against a small forested area which brings a bunch of mice and I think it’s been a buffet for this snake 😄 Here’s some of the pictures she’s sent, newest to oldest, plus bonus pics of a cool lizard that came by a few times.

Tank Upgrade Inspiration

I just placed an order for a big tank upgrade. I’m super excited to give my little dude a lot more space to run and hunt, and a much better temp gradient.

I would love and appreciate seeing your enclosures or heating ideas for my new layout! ❤️ 🦎

Especially any tips on bringing plants/foliage higher up.

Surprise Babies!

Went to add some springtails to my Anoles enclosure and saw something moving. Turned some leaves over and found so many surprise babies! I added some Powder Orange to the enclosure 6 months ago and never saw them again until today 😂 I’m so excited to see them finally starting to breed and happy and alive.

The itty bittiest spood molt. Still itty and bitty lol I’d guess it’s now somewhere between 1/16” and 1/8”.

I had this little one crawl up on my hand which I was sitting on the deck Easter day. It was so super friendly I made it a home and it lives on my desk. I’ve been missing having a jumper lately too. I’m obsessed.
