This is the mermaid bag after 3 more hours of work. it's taking shape and the pattern is starting to show. It is so much different then when it was just flat last week

14 loops, 168 strings and off to a great start.

168 strings and around 30 hours of work. That's not including the cutting floss or working out the pattern.

Another inch or so to go. Thoughts?

6 hours of knots so far and it's taking shape. It's a bit bigger than the last one so it might take a little longer to finish.

This was so much fun to make.

Just have to close the base and it's ready to go!

There was even more bracelets than my previous photo 😁

And this isn't even all of the bracelets! Almost 400 in total.

I think this will be finished up next week.

2 guitar straps I made some years ago

Almost halfway done. About 16 hours of work on it so far. That's an estimate so don't quote me on it.

I really like how this is going. Thoughts?

This phone bag is going to be very different with only two loops to hold the strap. Should be interesting to see the pattern develop as it's asymmetrical. The bright colors are also a lot of fun. It wasn't easy to get it started (you can see that for yourself on YouTubes livestream from last night) but it should be easy from here on out.
