Huh, I guess I'm done

Ironically, it's because there are too many events. Well, I guess it's because there are too many sub-par events and they cause a lot of nonsense.

I've been slowly grinding away, got to 101, and was working on things like centralizing all my gold mines. Nothing big, just something I could check in every few hours, if that, and blow some things up.

Except since I'm mostly ftp with only a purchase or two, the events force a more active play style on me. Because I am basically ftp and you need all the advantages you can get. Which, fair enough. They want you to spend money.

On top of that, the event spam clutters up the discount gem items. By the end of an event, all its offering is the temp gem items for this event. When the rotation is already cluttered with things I'm not looking for at the moment, those extra chances to find a discount I want hurt.

So yeah, I'm done. It was fun and I generally enjoy idle games. But that's the catch isn't it? The game isn't very idle anymore.
