Looking for a video editor for motorcycle racing / onboard footage
I'm looking for a video editor who is into motorcycles, racing, or motorsports to help turn a bunch of my onboard race footage into engaging social media content.
I have a number of full-length onboard racing videos from track/race weekends. Rather than posting entire races, I want to pull out the best moments and turn them into short, exciting highlight clips.
I'm looking for someone who can identify and edit things like:
🏁 Race starts / launches
🔥 Fast corners and aggressive riding
🏍️ Overtakes and passes
💨 Close racing / battles
😳 Near misses or sketchy moments
🏆 Finishes and other memorable moments
Any other sections that would make someone stop scrolling
The style I'm looking for:
I want the videos to feel fast and exciting—not like a generic GoPro compilation. Good pacing and knowing when to cut are more important to me than a bunch of flashy effects.
Ideally, the editor would be able to watch the footage and say, "This 12 seconds right here is a great clip," and build the edit around it.
I'm not necessarily looking for one giant highlight video. I'd actually prefer to get a number of individual clips out of each race weekend so I can build a library of content and post consistently.
What I'm looking for
Someone who:
Has experience editing action sports, motorsports, GoPro/onboard footage, or similar
Understands racing enough to recognize a good moment
Has a good sense of pacing
Can make raw footage exciting without making it feel overly produced
Can provide examples of their work
