silly question - repeating tasks

I deleted a 'repeating task' and then it showed up again. This is because it appears on the first of each month (bills) but I'm not sure how to perma-delete it so all future occurrences are gone as well. Advice please? Thank you!

Image editing

I have images inline in my notes and - when I was an Evernote user - used to use the edit-image feature within EN (simple stuff like cropping a screenshot etc).

What's the best way to do this with Bear, on my Mac?

Double clicking the image offers me a preview and the option to 'Open with Preview'... but then the resulting edited image does not seem to save to the original note. What's a nice clean way to do this?

Thank you

Advice - non-leather bifold (slim)

Hello all. As the title states, I'm looking for a slim non-leather bifold. I like the Alpaka Ark bifold cash wallet. I also like the Pioneer Altitude Billfold. If you've used both/either, please do let me know your thoughts. Also, any suggestions for other similar products I could look at before choosing?

(after 3 decades of horizontal billfolds, I'm looking to be revolutionary and move to a vertical billfold, ha ha)

Thank you

Bangalore hotel booking advice

Hello all

I rarely book hotels using credit cards so please give me your inputs: For my sister, I need to book a room (2 adults + 1 kid) near Bangalore airport, for 1 night.

*I am not traveling*

Options: Taj Bangalore airport, Doubletree Hilton Bengaluru airport, other star hotels near airport.

Cards available: HSBC Premier, Axis Atlas, Infinia and MRCC

Tried:

  1. HSBC is about 2K more than elsewhere - with price-match this may be okay but Hopper does not offer a breakfast-inclusive option. I would use the 12x points for Bonvoy transfer.
  2. Smartbuy does not have the first two hotels as options - smartbuy does not show them unless I search specifically for them (so maybe that's why the book button isn't on)
  3. Atlas will give me 5x on the hotel site so perhaps that's the simplest? I would use the 2 (5x) for ITC Green Points transfer.
  4. I have a Plat Travel Taj voucher for 10K but when I called, the Taj hotel person told me that if I am not present, they will not honour the voucher (I wonder how so many people sell their vouchers but...)

Anything I am missing or should know?

Thanks in advance.

HSBC Premier Card & Vouchers

Is HSBC considering introducing accelerated rewards on vouchers - like via Gyftr? I see a Gyftr insta-benefits portal for HSBC but no AEP portal like with HDFC. Anyone hear anything from a HSBC RM of official regarding this?

The card seems decent but this would be a real winner for users, outside their 'hopper' platform.

Advice regarding premium cards

I have 3 premium cards: HSBC Premier, HDFC Infinia and Axis Atlas. My spends are not huge, often being 1L - 1.2L per month all together (and I put a majority of my spends on my cards). I seek advice on the optimum use of these three cards:

a. Atlas for most offline spends --> transfer for ITC green points at 1:2 ratio

b. Premier for some offline spends --> transfer for Marriott Bonvoy points at 1:1 ratio

c. Infinia for all voucher purchases. Infinia points feel less useful to me since I often use a travel agency so the 1:1 redemption for flights is less useful for me - and transfer partners don't offer good ratios.

Let me add: I was fine with 2 credit cards but applied for the Premier because I feel Axis may 'discontinue' the Atlas (since they aren't sourcing it and offer the less rewarding Horizon).

Any inputs or advice on how to 'optimize' this stack would be welcome.

Edit: to add - I don't travel too much but I do have occasional travel to places where the Marriott and ITC redemptions could fund a multi-day family stay.

Franklin US opportunities fund

Given the interest in investing in the US markets + the RBI limits, why is this fund still open for lumpsums? I'm thinking about it but this worries me - seems counter intuitive if you will. The other possibilities I can think of (1) underperformance - but it seems to have performed ok recently and (2) AMC had issues a few years ago. Any thoughts on this fund or inputs regarding it?

Thank you
