Tutor requested to reschedule and put the reason as ‘student requested to cancel’

Hi everyone, the title pretty much describes what happened. I agreed to rescheduling because it doesn’t clash with my schedule so I have no issue with that, but now I have a notification in chat asking ‘Did you request this change?’. My question is should I just answer yes - does this affect my account in any way?

It’s my first time using preply so I just wanted to ask if this is a normal thing that happens when a tutor reschedules.

Egyptian-Turkish citizen applying. Will the Turkish passport cause issues? + Correct visa type?

Hello everyone. I'm currently applying for the visa for the first time (in Egypt) and I came across a few posts about people facing issues with their visas due to the presence of Turkish stamps in their passports & even Turkish passport holders being refused for an L visa. All these posts were dated 2+ years ago, so I was wondering if anyone in a similar position has had any recent experience?

Edit: I no longer need help on the visa type as mentioned in the question. Thank you!!

Complete beginner, which camera do I buy?

Hi everyone, I’m a complete beginner and I’m currently just very overwhelmed by which camera to buy to fit my needs so I need some advice. I initially wanted to buy a small point & shoot camera so I could use it to take pictures of my friends / use it for casual outings so I settled on buying the canon powershot sx740, which was no longer available in stock by the time I was about to purchase it.

After some more research, I realized that I would prefer a camera with interchangeable lens, just so I could use it later down the line for dental photography once I become more experienced (but that’s not my main purpose right now, I just want to keep that option open)

Overall, what I’m currently looking for:

• Interchangeable lens

  • Integrated / Built in flash
  • Relatively compact (I don’t want something too huge or bulky)

Some of the cameras I’ve seen that I’ve considered were:

• Canon EOS R50

  • Fujifilm XT-30 ii
  • Nikon Z50 ii
  • Sony ZV E10 (but it has no integrated flash)

I was about to purchase the eos R50 until I read somewhere on this subreddit that the canon ecosystem isn’t as great / as fully integrated as fujifilm or sony and that the options for lenses are quite limited, so that is something that threw me off a bit. The ZV E10 seems like a good option, besides the fact that it doesn’t have an integrated flash, but I could overlook that if it’s the best choice out of the cameras I’m considering. I also really love the look and overall feel of fujifilm cameras, and so far I’ve only seen really positive reviews from fujifilm users so I think I’m currently leaning the most towards that.

If anyone could please guide me as to which camera to purchase from the list I’m considering, or if there are any other cameras that are better than the ones I’ve mentioned. Thank you so much!

(1) Budget, country, and currency: I’ll buy the camera from either kuwait or the UAE & my budget is around 300KWD (equivalent to around $1000). However, I can go slightly above this budget if there is a better camera that will fit all my requirements.

(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs? Just a very old point and shoot digital camera.

(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot? friends / family / nature. I am about to graduate as a dentist so eventually I would like to lean into learning professional dental photography to build my portfolio. But my main purpose for now is just casual photography.

(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography, or both? Photography
