I have nothing to show for my sad life, so I'm making 300 calls a day for my own business. Day 1.
So, I'm a 29, almost 30 year old man starting my own business selling AI receptionists. I used to hire out construction units and portaloos via cold calling, and I have to say I got relatively decent at it and it's been a skill I haven't used in a while.
But the main reason I am doing this, the one and only reason, is that I nothing to show for my life. I am mentally unwell, autistic, friendless, forever alone and I want to make something out of the nonexistent life I have. Every day I am going to make 300 cold calls to try and sell my product and if it fails, oh well, I can say I tried.
Rule 1 of this challenge is that I am going to try and sell to 20 different customers.
Rule 2 of this challenge is that I cannot give up until after 90 days.
Day 1. Set up my call system, got mentally ready to cold call, and made 350 calls that lead to a few interesting conversations but mostly just rejections and people brutally hanging up or saying no.
Was a kick in the teeth, but I'm gonna do this again tomorrow to see where it goes.
