A rather specific request but I want to read a book where the FMC is quite timid and sweet while the MMC is gruff. There should be a scene or something similar where the MMC raises his voice and then apologizes once he realized his tone. Just want something where FMC sort of softens the MMC around the edges and keeps him on his toes.

I’m open to anything but HR and books where FMC is SA’ed are hard nos for me. Strictly no love triangles or cheating as well.

I don’t mind insta-love and I’m quite fond of alien and mafia romance.

I was reading The Pucking Wrong Number and there was a scene where the MMC was in a modeling gig and some girl was spreading oil on his bare chest for the photoshoot. He thought that if it happened before he met the FMC, he would have gotten hard and reacted to the other girl’s advances. But since he met the FMC, no other girl “works” for him anymore then he praises himself, internally saying “Good Boy”.

So now I kind of want to read where the MMC (normally a bad or morally grey) loves being a good boy for the FMC. Not exactly femdom. More like the MMC knows he’s not exactly a good person so when he does something that’s out of his bad character for the FMC, he feels like a good boy deserving of praise.

I’m open to anything except those with OW or OM drama, cheating, polyamory, and HR.
