Monster/Alien FMC with human MMC
Hi! Hope this is okay to post here.
I'll preface this by saying that I am a woman who reads (and loves) a lot of RFW, but I enjoy a lot of the tropes/features that seem more prominent in RFM.
By this, I mean things like;
- the relationship being strong from earlier on in the book, with conflict being external
- a balanced relationship with more equal partnership rather than the 'white knight' trope
- the woman being an active part of the romance, not just having the romance happen to her. The woman actually being the initiator would be the cherry on top!
I can find some of these in RFW, but what I can't seem to find is good monster or alien FMCs! I really enjoy human x monster/alien books but it's aaaaalways the MMC who's non-human, and I'm bored.
So I'm here to ask for your best recs!
- I would prefer dual POV but single male POV is fine too
- traditional harem probably isn't my jam, but a more polyamorous type harem would be great
- any type of monster/alien is good, I'm not fussy there lol
- prefer moderate to high spice
- finally, please please please no ridiculous third act breakup!
