I hate ticks

Just a reminder to check, check, check your body.

We did a lot of heavy gardening and pruning in the last few days. Somehow we missed this in a spot I can't easily see.

Two weeks of doxycycline, here I come. I am extremely lucky to have a doctor who uses email, and who responded almost instantly when she got this Sunday morning.

This cat sums up the feelings of everyone who has to use the Halifax buses.

How to get rid of an erroneous phone directory listing?

Hey all, I moved out of the home. I shared with my former husband almost 15 years ago, and have been divorced for over ten. I just discovered that my name and our old joint landline phone number are still listed on canada411.ca.

I suppose it’s really no skin off my ass, because I certainly cannot be reached through him. And, I’ve only had a cell since I left, never a landline again.

I knew he had kept the landline at the house, even though he has a cell, and doesn’t live there. I don’t even know if his service is still with Bell, or Eastlink, or whatever telecom.

But it’s still rather peculiar, and I just don’t like having my name out there, attached to a number I’ve had nothing to do with for almost 15 years. It’s the sort of thing he would probably get rather huffy about if I asked him, and likely not actually do anything anyway.

Does anyone know how I could go about getting my name removed?
