Unexpected Rave Culture in My City
I’ve lived in this city my entire life, and honestly, I never expected its rave/concert scene to get any better. But after spending the last four months posted in a really deserted area with basically zero social interaction with locals, I came back and was genuinely surprised to find a group of people organizing private raves.
And honestly, they’re pretty fun.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of people seem inexperienced when it comes to keeping the energy going throughout the night. Most people mix different substances, and instead of making the night more energetic, it just seems to make everyone slow, numb, and ready to call it a night.
The biggest disappointment was when they killed the music right before Fajr. I was expecting the night to continue, but suddenly it was over just when I was getting into it.
I can easily stay up and enjoy the music until 8–9 AM, but I rarely find anyone else with the same stamina. 😂
Anyone else in Pakistan have this problem? Where are all the people who actually want to keep the rave going until sunrise?
