FMLA and ADA (support)

Ive had PNES for 4 years, and its been a hectic 4 years. Hospital visits, therapy, embarrassment, 911 calls, and more hospital visits. Through it all Its been extremely hard to accept. I would hide it and not tell people around me that I could feel an Aura, and its been hard for my loved ones because they think I dont trust them (I do its just embarrassing). At the end of the day, the workplace is the last place that I want to have a seizure and I've had a total of 3 so far. Ive been working here for 3 years so basically 1 every 6 months to a year or so. And I dont want my seizures to seem like a big deal, I dont want to be treated differently, I dont want assistance. Unfortunately, my last seizure at work they required me to be on ADA and FMLA... I understand that they want me to be protected and make sure I keep my benefits, but its hard to grasp that I am basically labeled as disabled.
