I can't for the life of me remember to keep the toilet seat down after I pee, and it has caused some arguments between my fiancé and me. Completely my fault, I get it. My dumb brain won't remember 100% of the time. Maybe 80% of the time, and that's probably being nice to myself.

I'm trying to find a soft closing toilet seat that keeps the lid open. I don't want her to think I've passive-aggressively changed things around so now she has to open the lid to pee as well. I've seen the loommate, but having a device sticking out on the lid, and the seat slamming down when I forget, wouldn't work for us.

If there isn't anything out there, I'll just get used to sitting down to pee or just go in the backyard.
