over the past few months i’ve become more reliant on my too small and too heavy basic chair, so when i saw this secondhand quickie q7 on facebook marketplace i had to jump on it! i’ve had it a few days now and i feel so lucky to find the perfect chair to hold me over until i’m able to get a custom.

the timing also couldn’t be more perfect as i return to classes next week and was worried about navigating campus independently with either my drive chair or forearm crutches. i can’t believe how much i lucked out here!

my husband and i live in a high cost of living area and managed to get a studio for $900 (+utilities), about $500 under the average studio price here. we also have a gorgeous yard which is a huge plus. our biggest issue has been storage, as evidenced by the bins under the bar, but other than that it’s perfect for us, our cat, and our shrimp tank.
