No more jumping between daily notes—just scroll through them
I've been writing my journal in Obsidian, and navigating between my often-short daily notes wasn't easy. For some time, I used a template that linked each daily note to the previous and next day so I could navigate forward and backward by clicking on the links, but it still didn't feel convenient.
Then I tried existing plugins—for example, the first result, the Journals plugin. It seemed complicated, required me to create a new journal for some reason, and offered more than I needed.
I use daily notes a lot, but constantly opening separate files made the experience feel less like a journal and more like navigating a folder.
So finally, I built the Journal View plugin. It brings my existing daily notes together in one continuous, editable timeline. I can scroll through previous days, write directly in the timeline, jump to a date with the calendar, search old entries, and return to today without breaking my flow.

There’s no migration, special format, duplicate files, or account required. It just adds a new view, like Graph View, and that’s it.
I’d love to hear your feedback and improve it further, and I’d appreciate it if you gave it a try.
