What is your favorite razor?
Please tell me, which is your favorite razor and why?
As you probably already guessed, mine is the Lambda Athena. I like it mostly because of the way it shaves. It is very smooth, easy to use, but still, effective enough to get me to BBS in three standard passes. From an engineering point of view, it is extremely cleverly made. It has a unique firm grip on the blade, which excludes any possibility of vibration (chatter) of the blade, which drastically reduces potential irritation. Of course, not least, the appearance and the perfect, jewel-like workmanship.
I have more than 20 razors and I try to include them all in my routine, but when it comes to Athena's turn, it is a small celebration. I like this razor so much that I have two of them. One bronze and one titanium, both mirror polished.
