I have a random question. This is the craziest thing I've read so i had to ask. I read somewhere that these mites are more active on the eyelide at night because they dont like the light or sunlight/uv light?... and that you can kill them by using a Uv. Light pen? At night or while in the dark?
This sounds crazy but is there any truth to that?
I thought those Uv pen lights say dont ever point near face?...

Hello there, I stumbled into this reddit thread. Not sure where to start but need help, advice or ideas. I have a 4 year old with (i dont know what) of the eyes. Google sent me to this reddit thread based on images I took of her eyes. She has seen 2 or 3 different doctors/specialists over the corse of the last year. None of them have been able to fix it.
This all appeared a little over a year ago. We do constantly wash face and eyes multiple times a day. Doctors prescribed ocusoft cleaning wipes and eye drops that haven't done anything.
She is 4 so good luck keeping hands off face and eyes, so it doesnt help. The doctors seem to be clueless.
I have 3 kids and extremely clean house. The other 2 kids dont have this. She seems to be the only one with this issue.
The last doctor appointment recommended another kind of eye drops but they said its like $2000 bucks which im not about to pay or could even afford.
Any help here would be appreciated. Im at a loss and dont know what do do next.
