Figured out my previous identity, went to eBay, bought something I held in that life

I had such a detailed, clear experience during past life regression. All the details aligned and I was able to discover the identity of this writer that I'd previously never heard of. While she's not super well known now and her books have long been out of print, there are still some available online on resale markets.

I was able to order them (some for only like $8, which is amazing) and there was one that I splurged on (less than $100 but certainly more than $8) that was signed by her.

It's surreal to think that two weeks ago I had noooo idea about any of this. And now, I'm able to hold that book and see her signature and it just hurts my brain wrapping my mind around all of it...

Anyway, I just wanted to share! I still haven't told anyone in my actual life about any of this.

Past live revealed during hypnosis, not sure what to do with it???

I've been down a rabbit hole of NDE testimonies and books on reincarnation for a few years now, and I've gotten more curious about past life regression lately. I was planning on seeing a hypnotherapist in NYC at some point to try it, but since it's so expensive, I heard about people using guided self-hypnosis YouTube videos made for that exact purpose. I figured I'd give it a shot with absolutely zero expectations whatsoever.

I was 100% sure of her first name. Here is everything else I was able to gather in that session:

  • Roughly when she was born (early 1900s) and died (1980s).
  • Where she lived, and that she was at the height of her career in the 1930s.
  • She was very successful in what she did, loved her career, and leaned into it as much as she could.
  • She had a child later in life, and at the end of her life in her 80s, her only regret was not having kids a bit earlier so she could have more time with them and get to know her grandchildren.
  • She was with her husband for several years before they ever had kids.
  • She loved being a mom, made that her priority for that chapter of her life, and took time off from her career to do it.

I was able to find this woman easily. Nearly ever single detail lined up: She had her first child in her 40s. Her first grandchild wouldn't be born until her own child was around the same age she was, and when she passed away, her oldest grandchild was only three. That was really the only tragic or sad thing—the main lesson I took from that life was her regret over not getting to see her family grow. I thought she died somewhere coastal like Cape Cod or the Hamptons, but it turned out to be a different coastal part of the Northeast that I wasn't familiar with. Aside from that, everything else I experienced and remembered from "reliving" that lifetime was overwhelmingly positive.

The only thing I was wrong about was the number of kids, where exactly she died (as explained above), and thinking that her husband had the same job she did. It turns out he was originally her coworker though, which I feel still kind of counts! We were also born on the same day, albeit 90+ years apart...

The crazy part is how much it aligns with things I've always known to be true about myself. I've always just known that I wanted to have kids on the younger side for this exact reason—one of my grandparents died when I was a baby so I never got the chance to know them, and that's been ingrained in me for as long as I can remember. I want the opportunity to live long enough and have kids soon enough that I can enjoy grandparenthood to its fullest. I always just assumed that came from missing out on knowing one of my own grandparents.

Beyond that, she worked as a writer, and that's something I've always been interested in. I was able to find some of her work and interviews/news stories about her and we seem to have similar perspectives and senses of humor. I've been working on a book proposal for like five months now.

I'd never heard of her before so it's not like this was dormant in my mind or something.

My question is... what the fuck do I do with this information lol.

Her child and grandchildren are still around. I wouldn't reach out to them or anything because that would be nuts. I think, more than anything, I'm just surprised that the video 'worked'
