>This iteration of the Diagonals project began with a casual correspondence between myself and Sean O'Hagan, which somehow led to him hearing some tracks I'd made, and then to an invitation to London to co-write and record with him at Press Play with Andy engineering. The 5-day session in the studio was wonderfully chaotic and creative, educational, sometimes improvisational.

>Astra Solaria was my first thought when I got back home with my rough mixes; I have long been an admirer of Bernard and his label. Through Bernard this project was lucky enough to include the talents of Sophie The Operator, Nina Savary and Astrobal, who made the songs truly complete. I am in awe of the fact that I have had the opportunity to work with these extraordinary artists, not least of which being Flore Kunst. It is my hope and plan that this EP is only the beginning.

Jealous of those seeing them tonight. This is one of their best live songs and it doesn't get played too often, especially not with live backing horns. (one of the best songs, as well). Goes mental by the end.
