I went to Hall Road today for 6 panels Jinko N-Type 590W.
One shopkeeper gave me Rs. 27.5 per watt final, another gave Rs. 28.5.
Total for 1 panel around Rs. 16,200.
Is this the current rate in Lahore / Karachi? Has price increased or decreased in August?
Also is Jinko better or Longi HiMo 7?

I installed 2x Osaka Tubular TR-1800 batteries 2 years ago with my 5kW system. Pehle saal backup 6 hours ka tha, ab sirf 2 hours reh gaya hai.
Shopkeeper keh raha hai ab Lithium lo. Lekin Lithium ki price 3x zyada hai (Rs. 280k vs Rs. 40k).
Jin bhaiyon ne Lithium use ki hai, kya waqai uski life 10 saal hai? Kya maintenance zero hai?
Aur kya ye sach hai ke Tubular 60% hi backup deti hai jabke Lithium 90%?
Please guide, 2 batteries ka 80k zaya ho gaya hai, ab dobara mistake nahi karna chahta.

Current per watt rates (August 2026):
Longi Hi-MO 6 / X6 - Rs. 39-41 per watt
Jinko N-Type 585W - Rs. 38-40 per watt
Canadian N-Type - Rs. 38-40 per watt
JA Solar - Rs. 37-39 per watt
Shopkeeper said prices are lowest right now due to over-supply, might increase after September.
Has anyone else bought recently? What price did you get in Lahore / Karachi / Islamabad?

After checking 5 shops from Hall Road and Beadon Road for my 10 Marla house (Bill was 45k), I finalized 8kW. Sharing real cost so you guys don't get scammed.
Many dealers were quoting 11.5 - 12 lac for simple On-Grid.
My final breakdown for On-Grid 8kW:
Panels: 14 x 580W Jinko N-Type - 4.2 Lac
Inverter: 8kW Inverex Nitrox - 2.8 Lac
Structure (L3 Elevated) + Wiring + Breakers + Green Meter - 3.0 Lac
Total: 10.2 Lac
Generation is 35-38 units/day in this weather. Easily runs 2 x 1.5 Ton Inverter ACs in daytime.
For Hybrid with 5kWh battery, I was getting 15.5 Lac quote.

Is 10.2 Lac a good price for On-Grid?
Salam everyone, I researched 3KW system prices in Lahore for my home. Prices I got: Rs. 380k - 450k without battery (Longi 580W panels + 3KW inverter + structure). With battery around 580k.
Does this sound right? I wrote detailed breakdown here with bills saving calculation. Happy to share if someone needs.
