im looking to buy a drawing tablet and im stuck deciding between a screen display and a non-screen graphic tablet. i also frequently get wrist pain, so im hoping to find the most ergonomic setup for drawing (like reducing strain).
for digital art, which one would you recommend and why? any ergonomic tips or specific features (like tablet size, pen grip, stand/arm support, etc.) that helped?
ive been thinking of getting the huion kamvas 13… is it actually a good drawing tablet?
im looking for something reliable for digital art (maybe even note taking).
for anyone who has one (or has used one), hows the experience day-to-day?
specifically:
• hows the pen feel (latency, accuracy,responsiveness)?
• display quality (colors/contrast,brightness, any obvious flaws)?
• build quality/ does it feel solid long-term?
• software experience (drivers,mapping/shortcuts, any annoying bugs)?
• does it feel worth the price?
also:
is huion reputable in general? and how does the kamvas 13 stack up against something like wacom - is it a real upgrade/value, or do you end up missing out on wacoms “it just works” factor?
(if youve had both, id especially love your comparison.)
the only drawing tablet i have tried was wacom intuos S, i think it was nice but too little for me.
im starting online school and i want a note setup that works on a computer. i really like writing, so im thinking about getting a tablet with a stylus to take notes by hand.
but i also want to be less cluttered… mentally and physically, so i dont end up with a messy system.
im mainly using a laptop, but considering a tablet for handwriting
a few questions:
if you like writing by hand, do you recommend a tablet for online school notes, or is laptop-only enough?
whats the simplest way you organise notes so it stays clean (by class, by week, tags, notebooks, folders, etc.)?
what app(s) do you use, and whats your basic workflow from lecture → notes →review?
