I was on Product Hunt and came across a launch that is currently ranked #2. It was hunted by Garry Tan, and the product seems to be backed by a team that went through YC.

My question is: To get Garry Tan as hunter, do you need to be a YC founder/team? Or is it possible even if you are outside the YC network?
