My beautiful boy!

This morning I went into the backyard. Woody was across the yard. When he saw me, a huge grin spread across his face. He started running towards me still smiling. It was majestic. I swear it was like a slow motion movie. He was so graceful. It almost brought tears to my eyes. He gets closer. And then closer. Still running at full speed. It is no longer a beautiful slow motion movie. I went from "He is so majestic!" to "Oh! Shit!" in about 0.257 seconds. I brace for impact and as I'm flying through the air, I'm thinking about how dumb I am for thinking he would stop. I hit the ground. Woody is standing over me looking at me like I'm an idiot for being on the ground. He sneezed in my face and ran off.

Weaning off Viibrid

I'll start with Viibrid is the best antidepressant I have been on. But unfortunately, like other antidepressants, it stops working. I have continued on the highest dose long after it quit working out of fear of withdrawals.

After a discussion with my doctor last week, we decided to start weaning off of it.

Yesterday was day 1. I went from 40mg to 20mg. I felt fine most of the day. The itching started about 9:00pm. It wasn't nearly as bad as missing a dose, but damn! Nothing helped. I forced myself to go to sleep so I would stop scratching.

Woke up this morning with raw marks on my arms and covered in sweat. But no crazy nightmares or sleep paralysis!

Mood has been a little "off" this morning. Took my 20mg and an antihistamine. I'm feeling better now that they have kicked in, but still a little itchy and have a mild headache.
