helloooo
so. I got accepted in the past weeks for Tisch's Dramatic Writing program(yay!) for fall '26 as a rising junior. And I'm sure it's not as uncommon as I'm thinking, but the onsetting imposter syndrome is KILLING me. I'm also coming from The New School, and, in my head at least, NYU is such a massive ballgame compared to TNS, and I genuinely cannot conceive what something so basic as classes might be like here. How is y'alls experience at Tisch? Like, seriously, anything helps, I genuinely do not know what to expect so basically any idea on what the hell it's gonna be like is thoroughly appreciated.
I should add that, from the research I've done, I've seen that there's a couple opportunities each semester for students to get their work on the stage(I forget the program names), and that prospect rlly excites me. If anyone has any accounts on what those are like, I'd love to hear!
AND, of course, if any Dramatic Writing major/whoever wants to connect, feel free to dm me :D
