Blu-ray audio use?

I currently listen to both Analog (Vinyl) and digital (Streaming). I have a decent sounding system but I'm always looking for new avenues. I've heard from people that blu-ray audio can sound fantastic. I know there are limited stock, but I plan to get some sample rips of Blu-ray audio and test them through my roon. Anybody gone all in on blu-ray audio? if so, do you use a player or do you rip them and play through a Dac? (I'm using 2 channel only, so video, atmos or surround wont come into play)

Curious, how many people out there have had a chance to listen to some of the top tier equipment. How many of these can you put a check next to?

Mark what you’ve heard on the upper realms of audio. I’m very curious of personal impressions of each if you’re willing to offer them (I’m in the US , so if people have brands i should add let me know). I’ve listed five under each category (I put my check marks next to the equipment I’ve heard.)

Speakers:
- Wilson Audio Speakers: x
-B&W speakers. X
-Magico Speakers
-Sonus Faber Speakers. X
-Kef Speakers

Amplifiers:
-Gryphon Amplifiers:
-D’Agostino Amplifiers. X
-Naim Amps
- Pass Labs Amps. X
-Boulder amps

Turntables:
-Techdas X
-Goldmund
-Acoustic Signature
- Clear Audio X
-transrotor

Amplifiers

DACS:
-dCS X
-MSB
-Chord
-Wadax
-Rose. X

Edit - for people who've heard them all all at trade shows, can you provide your favorite brand (ie.. if money was no object which woold you choose) from each category? and bonus- the specific model you'd pick

Am i now a mortal enemy of this subreddit 🤪

Amp upgrade process underway, its should be worth the effort though.

I'm moving from a McIntosh MA12000 to Dagostino Mometum separates. I've been on the fence due to cost, but I got a deal and couldnt pass it up.

I'm just getting them running and the difference is substantial so far. Theres more clarity, but not in an analytical way, in a musical way. More to come as I continue to run them and get my subwoofers connected as well.

Found this cool wall hanging kit for riding gear

Made by Garvee, not expensive and easy to assemble. (I just wish it had 2 more helmet stands 😂).

Brown Grips + Black leather wrap = No Hassle Black Grips

I’ve been looking for black grips to match the rest of the bike, and then realized the simplest solution was just to wrap the existing ones. I found these nice leather wraps by tripmachine. they come with an adhesive which makes them easy to install

Saddlebag’s found for Classic 650

The US dealers were not able to order the factory luggage options for the classic 650, they were only able to install the mounting bars. I ended up purchasing a pair of longride mini patriots. They fit perfectly over the stock luggage bar, and they have an extender which allows them to stretch to 15 inches high. I’m happy with them so far and they seem well-made. I got solid black waxed canvas. (they have brown options as well.)

They replaced the older Momentum MxV's mono blocks, and were powering the same pair of Wilson XVX speakers that I've used many times to host my own listening events.

Say what you want about amplifiers, but I was sitting about 4 rows back toward the left when the first track played and I was knocked back by the difference in the way these powered the Wilsons. There are technical explanations aplenty, but my ears heard a system I've run many times, sound noticeably better - which, by the way, is a feat unto itself.

I know there will be different opinions on this and that's fine -mine is just that, an opinion. I wanted to share my personal experience with the group.

Glad I asked for white walls and black seat. I think its a good look for the teal.

** Update - Bike was delivered, I took her out for a ride. I wasn't sure exactly what the feel would be, but I am actually more impressed than I thought I'd be.

It's like riding a Classic 350 but with the smoothness and pickup of the GT 650, super happy with it. Kudos to RE on this one. (now they jut need to add white walls as a factory option 😛. )
