seems like a no brainer, surely they had access to them since they’ve reissued nearly all the other DC Collectibles Batman Animated figures. This one and the Batman pack are really awesome, so many little accessories that are direct references to specific episodes, like the Tuna head and roller skates, and jester themed grapple wand. Honestly, this line does it for me more than the more premium BTAS figures, it’s partially the scale and also the sculpts are just more on point compared to the larger, more expensive options.

This was an issue I’ve had with the first few waves but frankly, the last few have gotten better and better to the point of being nearly identical to the original DCC figures. So glad they did away with the cell shading too. Its a shame that we won’t be getting more of these, honestly if they ran out of figures to reproduce, I’d buy a few repaints if it meant getting more newly designed BAFs of obscure characters. Would have been cool to get another vehicle or two like the TAS Batboat. I know they haven’t released TAS Penguin yet, are there any others from the DCC line that haven’t gotten the McFarlane remake?

I found this old DC Direct Toyfare exclusive for a steal, and I love it, but I wish we had a McFarlane version with the better articulation and accessories

they’ve finally done away with that god awful cel shading, Batman has a cape wider than an inch (and it’s viny), the paint app is better than ever for this line, and the BAF Clock King fits together nicely with no loose parts or overly tight waist joint. The clock hand cane, Wataki Device, and a hand with a pocket watch are all very nice touches compared to earlier BAFs with sparse accessories. it’s a HUGE shame this line will die soon, would love to get all of the original DCC sculpts remade and another couple build a figs. Batboat and Bat glider would have been great too.. Resculpts could be easy money too, I’d snap up a straight jacketed Batman ala Trial / Dreams in Darkness.
