Hello, I'm a second year college student, and I'm exploring to find my tech stack or domain.

I want to explore AI/ML path.

Currently my vacations are going on and I'm learning DSA in Java. DSA is essential to be better in problem solving. SQL is also necessary to work with databases, and other tools like Git, GitHub, etc.

Firstly, my focus is on learning (DSA & SQL), then I'll build basic projects and I'll learn to deploy them on GitHub. So, I'll learn Git & GitHub by deploying my projects.

Currently, I'm learning Math required for ML.

Question 1: After watching the lectures, from where should I practice? Please suggest only beginners friendly resources.

I'm learning DSA in Java, after some time, I'll be aware of the logic. So, learning python will be easy. Because I have to learn only syntax as I already know the logic.

Gradually, I'll practice: Python Libraries after a month.

Guide to how to learn and be better in ML.

I'll be learning DSA. I'm an absolute beginner. Background: Completed second year

Language: Java; Mode of Learning: English

I'll be following Striver's A2Z Sheet (~450 Questions).

My concern:
Striver's focus is on "problem solving". Before starting any question, he teaches the theory content used in that question but he doesn't cover theory extensively. As I'm a beginner I'm afraid that I'll feel overwhelm and I'll quit learning. Because jumping to advanced topics without knowing basics is not a good approach.

My plan to overcome this:

I'll directly open Striver's YT Lectures, if I'm able to understand from his lectures & I can solve 1-2 questions per day from his sheet, then it's a good going.

But: suppose, there is any tough topic which I'm not able to understand from his videos, then I'll watch AlgoPrep's lecture on that topic only (I found his lectures on Telegram). He covers basics, and teaches more theory. (I'm not completely dependent on AlgoPrep, I can learn using ChatGPT also. My focus is on learning the topic irrespective of the way I choose to learn it.)

After learning the fundamentals of that tough topic I'll try to solve the questions related to that topic from Striver's Sheet.

Apart from Striver's Sheet, I'll look at the questions from other sites such as https://exercism.org/ & https://www.codewars.com/ to boost my confidence and improve my learning skills.

There are other teachers as well (Luv Babbar, Apna College, etc.) but they teach in Hindi/Hinglish. I'm not comfortable with that because I'm weak in Hindi. I want to learn in English.

Is it a good approach? I want solid & limited resources (only 1-2 YT Channels to learn) because I don't want to jiggle here & there while learning.
