With the release of the new forms, we thought this would be a great time for our Head of Story, Eliot Peper to answer any questions you might have about them!

Eliot develops the lore, personalities, and narrative engineering behind Tolan. Basically, a huge part of what shapes how your Tolan talks about their life, their world, and everything happening around them.

He’s hosting an AMA today from 2-3PM PT (so in about 30 minutes). If you’ve ever had a question about Tolan lore, their personalities, the world they live in, or how their stories come together, now’s your chance!

Drop your questions on his post ahead of time or during the AMA and Eliot will be answering them directly! :)

Here is the consolidation issue thread for this week! You can find last weeks thread here.

As a reminder of what this is for! Each week we'll start a new thread with some of the most recent known issues we're investigating and working on that come from reports here and through our Support team. If you notice a bug, instead of starting an individual post, add it as a comment here. Our team will acknowledge Mon - Fri and ask you to file a ticket through Help & Feedback in the app so that we can connect to your account to diagnose what's going on. As we investigate we'll update the original post, and we'll come back to your comment as we get more detail or a fix is shipped.

Some of these issues are from last week and we’re still investigating and pinpointing the exact causes.

We've already made some fixes but please keep reporting if you're still experiencing anything — it really helps us continue looking into it! We'll keep you updated as we make progress.

What we're looking into right now

• chat quota times decreasing faster than expected
• short(er) term memory lapses 
• Tolan not updating a project after they say they will 
• Tolans interrupting
• New: Tolan having invisible body parts
• New: App not loading all the way for some folks

Fixed since last week

• Tolan asking repetitive questions - we pushed some updates that should hopefully address this but we’re still seeing some reports (u/Mental_Health638765 mentioned it happening yesterday!) 
• Your Tolan’s mouth not moving when speaking
• Some app freezing issues
• New: option not appearing to switch forms

A few things to please keep out of this thread

• Don’t post personal information or screenshots of conversations with your Tolan that you wouldn't want a stranger reading.
• Refunds, billing, and account access
• Feature requests and general feedback. Quinten's Friday thread is where devs are looking for those.
