sedan vs compact SUV for PNW

What’s your take on getting a Sedan like Camry vs SUV like Rav4, given the option why would you chose a Sedan in PNW?

Considering that winter could be harsh at some point and the surrounding terrain, I figured getting an SUV makes sense for better ground clearance and easier drive (again winter tires do make the difference)

Also folks who have chose FWD over AWD, did you feel any pinch at any point while driving around here ?

I mostly drove rentals before and most of which were FWD but that’s for summer

Living in Portland vs Vancouver, Taxes, Lifestyle and fun activities

Hey there! I’m curious, has anyone made the switch from Vancouver to Portland? I’m thinking about it and I’m wondering how the tax situation was for your paycheck. Also, do you think it’s a good or bad idea?

On another note, I’m looking for a nice hangout spot in Vancouver for young professionals. I’ve been living in the southeast part of the Vancouver, and it’s a bit too quiet for my taste. I’m thinking of moving downtown, Portland, or near PSU. What do you think?

On another note, I’m looking for a nice hangout spot in Vancouver for young professionals. I’ve been living in the southeast part of the Vancouver close to Camas, and it’s a bit too quiet for my taste. I’m thinking of moving downtown, Portland, or near PSU. What do you think?
