I've always wanted to be a beach bum. Live on the beach, surf all day, do beach things, talk beach talk with beach accent, But I couldn't because I'm very pale and I was worried about skin cancer. Last night Moderna cured skin cancer so adios biglaw. Or should I say aloha.
For those not keeping up, S&C's former partner Jay Clayton was just put in charge of DNI. Everyone expects him to: (a) kick out anyone not rabidly pro-Trump, (b) selectively release "evidence" to "prove" the 2020 election was stolen, followed by Blanche prosecution attempts, (c) use surveillance tools against anti-Trump people, and (d) prepare a red carpet for the use of emergency powers this November. If you thought the stunts leading up to January 6 were bad you don't know what's coming. Of course there will also be general corruption, favors and "look the other way" for pro-Trump businesses and organizations but that's the least of the worries now.
My question is: how much will S&C suffer for this, if at all?
