Ritual Organization

Does anyone have a good recommendation on a way to store and carry your various rituals with you. I’m looking for an easy “grab and go” bag/case that I can just keep all of them in. Any recommendations will be appreciated!

Concerns with the York Rite

I’m wanting to get the general consensus.

How does one deal with an Eminent Commander who believes the Commandery is the end all be all of the york rite, and tries to tells the High Priest and Illustrious Master what to do.

I’m on my second term as HP and was told by our Commander “hey, it’s Commandery time so we’re sending your guys to the next chapter over for their degree work.” Take note, I’ve been trying to get degree work scheduled for months, and met with crickets. The commander also has no authority over the Chapter or Council. The one time I got a degree scheduled and grand line officers came down to help I was told by our commander “we need to send our candidates to different chapters, those guys shouldn’t have to drive here to do the work for us”. He and some of the old guard refuse to be identified as a York Rite. “We are a Commandery. None of that other stuff is as important as Commandery.” Many other members have now privately voiced their dissatisfaction of our york rite, and a great deal want to Demit. I’ve attempted to emphasize that we can not be a Commandery without a chapter and council. That sentiment seems lost on them “but we’re really good at the order of the temple.”

How does one deal with the burn out of that. I love my York Rite and want to see it thrive. I love the order of the Commandery, and they are extremely impressive. I’m slated to be Comamnder next year, but in true Commandery fashion we’re eating our own; and it’s difficult for me to find joy in it now.
