New gymshark logo

Anybody else notice that gymshark changed the typeface on its website logo? its really subtle but I wonder if the designs on new drops are going to be adjusted to reflect the new logo or if theyre going to change the shark symbol

Thoughts on cars for undergrad students?

This summer I will be having a very long commute from campus to my job by CTA, so I will need a car. I am thinking about just getting one this summer and keeping it for the rest of college (I am a rising second year), but am suddenly second guessing myself even as someone who loves cars.

If you have a car as an undergrad, would you recommend it? Why or why not? Are there many undergrads with cars?

I'm mostly worried that I will feel like it is a waste after the summer, even though I know I will use it to travel throughout the city, run errands during the week, and go on trips with friends because in first year, I found myself spending a lot of money on ubers and traveling for concerts. I think I could manage this better with a cheap car even though I don't NEED one to get around as I do in my hometown. I also think that I would end up using the car even more during my third and fourth years, which is when I know many people get cars. I had a lot of other reasons to get one for second year, but now that I am in the process I feel guilty and am second guessing myself because I feel like it still doesn't add up to being a necessity. Any thoughts?

Hi, I (M19) am interning this summer in the north side of Chicago and am having difficulty finding short term rentals to live with my friend who will be working downtown. I am hoping to pay no more than $2500 in rent split between the two of us, but I understand it is difficult given that I am looking for a place in the Loop, River North, Lincoln Park, Albany Park, or Lake View as I will have to take the brown line to reach my job in Albany Park. We are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment, and do not care about the number of bathrooms.

I'm looking to rent from June 12 to August 15 but am somewhat flexible with dates, as long as I can move in before June 15th. I'm just having trouble finding places that are available from these times, given that most interns begin in May and end in July. If anyone knows of any buildings or websites specifically for interns or generally open to short term leasing during this time, please let me know.
