We reduced our GitHub Actions price by 12x

we use GitHub actions for all our OSS projects at Celesto but it's been a pain for our private projects. It's slow and bills can skyrocket.

We repurposed our agent sandboxes as CI and saving 1/12th of the price now.

You can try it out here with 10,000 CI minutes for free.

Disposable macOS sandbox environment (OSS)

I built a disposable macOS sandbox environment to test apps.

One very good use case which I'm also testing with some founder friends who're building AI agents is that you can mount your host macOS filesystem and run the updated code/app every time you make a change locally.

Doing the same thing with a hosted solution costs a lot specially for Apple based VMs.

4yo epileptic Golden retriever travel advice

My 4yo Golden retriever is epileptic. He is on Keppra, Pheno and Potassium bromide and usually get 2-3 seizures a month and during good times 1 or even 0 seizure a month.

We are planning to move from the UK to India and need advice on travel. The neuro vet said that with precautions and proper meds it's possible but of course there would be risk.

Has anyone done flights with their dog? Also, the UK doesn't allow dogs inside the cabin so cargo or checked in baggage is our only option.

Run Pi coding agent remotely in the cloud sandbox

I use Pi coding agent all the time and just built a plugin to run Pi in a remote sandbox.

pi install npm:@celestoai/pi

It's free for 30 hours for per month and 750 hours for $5 a month.

Petabyte-scale storage for AI agent sandboxes

We enabled Petabyte scale durable storage for Celesto sandboxes, useful for coding agents, harnesses and store large files.

An agent does not just run a command and disappear. It turns a fresh machine into a workspace. It clones a repo, installs dependencies, downloads browsers, creates build directories, writes logs, saves screenshots, leaves traces, and comes back later with more context than it had at the start. The files are not incidental. They are the working memory of the task.

Learn more about it here - https://celesto.ai/blog/posts/platform/petabyte-scale-storage

A durable filesystem layer for AI agents

I run AI agents on my laptop and cloud. Often I wish to synchronize the memory markdowns created on multiple platforms. So I built a S3 based durable filesystem which can be mounted anywhere.

It is implemented in Rust with SDK in both Python, TypeScript and a CLI for agents.

  • Code editors
  • Filesystems
  • Desktop apps
  • APIs and tools
  • Cloud environments
  • Virtual machines and sandboxes
  • Enterprise and legacy software

The goal is to discuss what it actually takes to move agents from conversation to execution.

Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting.

every coding agent gives you two bad options

-> approve every command (death by prompt) -> skip permissions and pray

so I built smolvm. local microvm sandbox for Claude Code, Codex, and Pi.

one command. full permissions. zero host risk.
