What happened to my hibiscus? Is it too much sun?
Hi guys, new hibiscus owner here. I bought this a week or two ago, I haven’t repotted it yet.
I’m in Maryland. It’s been too cold at night so I’ve been keeping it in a sunny place inside. Over the weekend it warmed up, so I finally put it on our balcony on Saturday morning. Sat and Sun were low 80s, but Today has been very hot, with temperatures approaching 100.
Today, I come home to find the plant like this. It looked like 95% fine yesterday. I water it a little bit every day, but only a little bit. Am I over or under watering? Is it too much of a sun/temperature shock? Or do I just need to re-pot?
I wouldn’t describe the leaves as dry or crunchy, but they look like it.
