Finally hit another mini personal goal
Yay!!! I've just passed the 12st loss mark. 12st 3lb to be exact and also 10 months sober.
I was never a big drinker due to losing my mother ages 39 due to alcohol addiction and my father in 2021, the same reason, so I didnt drink much anyway, But mounjaro took away my ability to even be able to have one drink (such a lightweight)
Its been 14 months since march 2025, when I tipped the scales at a huge 30st 4lb and size 30 to 32. Now 18st 1lb and size 18 to 20. I feel amazing, I've had so many health benefits and more importantly I've reversed many of my illnesses. Back in march 2025 I didnt see a light at the end of the tunnel, I honestly thought the only way was I'd just get bigger and die.
I'd lost two and half stone between march and july 2025 on ww but my old habits were coming back, So I thought I'd hack into some savings and try mounjaro, expected it to not work and not need another injection. My god, not only did it work, It gave me my life back, and a good qauilty of life at that. Work has been so much easier too, I can manage a 9 hour shift without needing tonnes of painkillers and sit downs.
Its the best thing I've ever done for myself.
