Is my baby snail dead?

Update: its alive. Just dramatic and clumsy.

I found him after not seeing him for a day upside down under the soil... the front of his shell looks empty and im scared he's dead... anyone know?

Can anyone explain what a 'runt' means?

I've read about it due to now keeping a freshly hatched baby snail and I read about runts and that they mostly are in pain? Can anyone explain that for me? :)

HELP I missed an egg

My snail laid eggs a couple weeks ago and I thought I got all of them out, apparently not.

I want to keep this little one because killing it feels wrong... how do I care for it??😭

I have calcium, and food for it and I read that they eat the same like normal snails?

Edit: I just read about runts? Is it ethical to keep this baby? I don't quite know what that means
