Should I install Gentoo on a X201T?
I really wanted to try Gentoo as I've heard its lightweight and makes laptops faster, yet I'm afraid my thinkpad might not handle it well.
I personally want to use the machine for light drawing, nvim, and browsing, thats it.

X220T or x200T
I want to buy a second thinkpad after my t470 for some basic nvim programming on C, listening to local mp3 files, and drawing on krita with the stylus. I specifically wanted these for the keyboard but ebay prices on the X220T are wayy too high. 200+ for a machine that old should not be possible, the X200T on the other hand stays under 130 fine. I'm planning on buying a brand new SSD, ram for 8 gigs, new pen, and a new battery.
