Heard something making noises outside my door last night and opened it to this behe-moth ( buh dum tsss ). I’m in north Arkansas if that helps get an ID on it! It was about the size of my hand. Absolutely horrifying critter, I went ahead and closed the door softly after getting a few quick pictures.
EDIT: I think I figured it out!!! Few comments said Sphinx moth, I think it’s an Elm Sphinx!
So my endo has gotten much MUCH worse of late and caused some super weird symptoms to crop up. One, that I’m not sure if it’s related because ( SURPRISE! gynecologists legitimately just don’t care about women’s health and brushed it off ), is my cervix.
Now, I have had a cervical mass that has grown from about a dime to a quarter within the past year and a half. Sometimes I like to check on it because, well, my doctor doesn’t feel like doing it. Without even seeing it, he sat on the sink super casual and said “ it’s probably a nabothian cyst “, then shrugged and left. Well I looked up nabothian cysts, and apparently they are common only after A.) Childbirth and B.) Pelvic inflammatory disease. I have not been pregnant, nor do I have PID. I haven’t had sex in well over a year and that was with my then 10 year ex fiance. So I ended up reaching my breaking point and making an out of state visit with St Luke’s OB department to get it checked out.
Ok SO, the other weird thing.
While doing my usual cervical checks, something kind of shocked me a bit. I’m a day out from starting my period, and my cervix is UNCHARACTERISTICLY high up and squishy!! It’s almost always been hard like a rubber ball, even before menstrual cycles. Is my body just doing weird unexplained crap that could be related to the endo? I’m so defeated because I feel like a prisoner in my own body and the jailer is these doctors who have my key to freedom right in their pocket, if they would just CHECK. Please help
