I’ve been trying really hard to find a job in Ottawa, specifically in Human Resources. Unfortunately, I was laid off from my previous position due to company-wide job cuts, and it’s coming up on almost a year since I’ve been able to secure another role.

If you’re currently unemployed or have been through a long job search, I’d love to hear about your experience. Were you eventually able to find a job? If so, what strategies worked for you beyond applying through Indeed and LinkedIn? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
