New Grad LVN Job Advice!
Hello everyone, I am a new grad in SoCal and forgive me cause I have a lot of questions 😭
If you can answer any of them, please do but no pressure to answer all, thank you 🙏🏻
Wondering if a NOC shift is doable for a first job.?
Many SNFs are only hiring NOC, some with 1 RN and some with no RNs but 2 LVNs.
Is 2 weeks of orientation enough on average?
What are the pros and cons for AM, PM, and NOC? Especially for a first job 💪🏻
How many patient to nurse ratio should I look for? 30?25? NOC shift more is normal? Shift differential given or not?
Any tips for a new grad? What green flags ✅ or red flags 🚩 to look out for?
Anyone started their first job in home health? Or Vital Nurse School Nurse?
Is the new grad rate $35?
Any advice or input is much appreciated 🥹
