Unable to Watch YouTube while doing something else on another screen / same screen
I have a HP Laptop running Windows 11 Home, Intel i3 1.2 ghz 2 core, 32GB Ram, lots of space on hard drive. Decent wifi connection - over 100mbs.
I had two screens and would watch YouTube on one while doing email / surfing the web / working on documents / even just exploring my files on the other one. It always made the YouTube video choppy and the whole experience very slow. When I decrease the quality of the YouTube video to 480 it was a little better, but not much.
Thought it was the multiple screens, so I bought a widescreen monitor - still experiencing the same issue on just the one monitor, but not as bad. Still better than with two screens, but not ideal.
Anything I can do to make this work better? Or do I just need a new computer? I can't believe that this laptop doesn't have enough power to simply watch a video and do something else at the same time, but it appears to be true. I added more RAM to bring it to current level. Aside from that, I have done nothing. I use the laptop for light gaming, and it works well (Starcraft 2, other older games).
