I get fomo everyday that of I hire more it will increase conversion % due to faster closure and better followup.

If I deploy n8n myself and due to api changes by provider connector breaks and n8n makes changes will I have to get the latest n8n version forcefully ?
Given if I skip a lot of versions in between, I can face backward compatibility issue ?
