Locum social work - looking for experiences

Hi all, it looks like this sub mainly has students/grads but I thought I'd still put this out there. I'm hoping to find experiences from locum social workers.

I am a social worker experienced in clinical/mental health work. No accreditation because I haven't needed it in NGO world.

I'm interested in Mental Health Clinician locum roles. They sound very appealling with travel/accommodation paid for and rates anywhere from $60-$160 an hour. I'm just worried that I'll get there and it will end up being a nightmare.

I know it's probably very site dependent, but it would be great to hear any experiences :)

What are your favourite road trips?

There are so many beautiful places to explore in our own country. Starting in Adelaide - long, short, keeping in SA or beyond - what are your favourite places to go on a road trip and why? What are your favourite stops along the way?

Hey all, I've been hit with a conduct meeting. I already know the allegation will not be substantiated as it is retaliatory and untrue, and have others who can support this. The conversation in which I apparently made the comment was 10-12 months ago.

My employer sent the letter this afternoon, for a meeting on Monday. However - and I know I'm being pedantic - it's not with 48 business hours notice. If I include the weekend then of course it's over 48 hours, but I don't think that's right.

Do I have the right to request an updated meeting time with 48 hours' notice?

I could just stick with the current time to get it over and done with, but I'm frustrated that the meeting is even happening. I would love to pull them up on it given they're putting me through this needlessly.
