Microsoft Power Platform

Hey everyone 👋

I have a YouTube channel focused on the Microsoft Power Platform — covering Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and real-world business solutions built on top of it.

Right now I’m running a challenge series called “100 Days, 100 Problems”, where I build different Power Platform solutions and share the full end-to-end process — from UI design and logic to automation and data integration.

If you’re new to Power Apps or just need a solid refresher on the fundamentals, you might want to check out my Power Apps Beginner’s Guide video.

My most recent video was building a simple Attendance Tracker App using Power Apps with a SharePoint backend.

My goal is to make Power Platform content practical, beginner-friendly, and easy to apply in real projects.

Would love feedback from the community and suggestions for problems/apps I should build next 🙌

Day 17/100: Built a Attendance Tracking App in Power Apps

Hey everyone, I just finished building a simple Attendance Tracking App using Power Apps + SharePoint.

This app allows staff to:

  • Select a group or category
  • View assigned members
  • Mark attendance as Present / Absent using toggles or checkboxes
  • Submit attendance directly to SharePoint, either individually or in bulk

Day 16/100: Built a Botanical/Plant Observation App in Power Apps

Hey everyone 👋

I just published a Power Apps tutorial where I build a Plant / Botanical Observation App from scratch. The idea is to replace manual plant tracking (paper logs / spreadsheets) with a simple digital system.

In this video, I walk through how to design an app that can be used in real scenarios like gardens, research projects, or environmental monitoring.

🔗 Watch here: https://youtu.be/ZL-J2_tvmvA

What the app covers:

  • Creating plant observation records
  • Searchable dropdowns
  • Logging and searching location and phenophase based plant data
  • Adding notes and attachments
  • Structuring data for scalability in Power Apps

If you’re into building real-world apps for environmental or research use cases, this might be useful.

Day 15/100: How to Print Screen, Gallery or Containers in Power Apps (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

I made a quick tutorial showing how to print the entire screen, specific galleries or containers in Power Apps using a simple approach. At the end, I also show how you can generate a PDF and send it via email.

Learning Power Platform? Check This Out 👀

Hey everyone 👋

I recently started a YouTube channel focused on real-world Power Platform content.

I’m currently doing a “100 Days, 100 Problems” series where I solve actual problems from r/PowerApps and turn them into working solutions.

I just published a quick tutorial on how to sync multiple galleries in Power Apps so they scroll together — https://youtu.be/tsLx1Ivg0Ik

If you’ve ever tried building grid layouts, seat booking apps, or anything where alignment matters, you’ve probably run into this issue.

What should I cover next? Tell me in the comments!

Hey everyone 👋

I created a quick tutorial on how to add a popup in Power Apps — https://youtu.be/603C_j0LYtU

This is something I’ve seen a lot of beginners struggle with, so I tried to keep it as straightforward as possible.

Would love feedback or suggestions on how you usually implement popups in your apps 👍

Hey everyone 👋

I’m on Day 13 of my #100Days100Problems challenge, and today I built a Seat Booking App using Power Apps + SharePoint.

The idea was pretty simple — but turned out to be a fun one to implement properly.

What it does:

  • Pick a seat (A–H layout)
  • Select time within a range (like 8 AM – 6 PM)
  • Prevent double booking
  • Only 1 booking per user per day
  • Cancel booking option
  • Visual seat status (Available / Booked / Selected)

I’m back with another Power Apps + SharePoint tip — 🔒 How to properly hide a SharePoint list so users don’t directly access your backend data.

Would love to hear your thoughts or if you’ve handled this differently! 😊
