Every time I start a new React/Vite project, I somehow end up fighting with Tailwind and shadcn setup.

It’s always some issue with Tailwind v4, import aliases, tsconfig.json, tsconfig.app.json, shadcn not detecting the setup properly, or some tutorial telling me to add a config option that’s apparently outdated now.

I know how to set everything up manually, but I’m looking for a cleaner way to do it. I just want to create a new project, install Tailwind + shadcn, and start building without having to spend 15 minutes fixing configuration every single time.

What’s the current recommended setup for Vite + React + TypeScript that keeps the configuration to a minimum?

Surely there’s an easier way.

Just started my way into backend dev

I know Python from when I was younger but then after years of being a frontend dev I think node would stick better

But then at the same time who doesn’t like Python

Also want to go into devops and blockchain development

What do you guys think?
